Callao, Preciados and Sol: where the taxi can stop
Plaza del Callao is one of the busiest spots in Madrid and much of the area around it is pedestrianised: the square itself, Calle Preciados and Calle del Carmen, which run down to Puerta del Sol, and many of the side streets that cross them. Cars cannot go in there, and with suitcases that matters.
The solution is simple: when you book, give us your address or hotel and we will confirm a nearby spot on a street open to traffic, for example on Gran Vía itself or another nearby road with traffic. That way you know exactly where to go with your luggage and the driver can wait for you without any trouble. How much the taxi from Callao to Barajas costs
Callao is inside the M-30, so the journey has the fixed inside-the-M-30 fare, €33 to any terminal. That price does not move even if the way out of the centre is congested, and it is the same if you make the journey the other way round.

Getting to Callao from the airport
If you land at Barajas and are staying in the area, book a pickup at your terminal with your flight number.
