Chueca and Salesas: narrow streets, well-planned pickups
The Justicia neighbourhood, which everyone knows as Chueca, runs from Gran Vía to Sagasta and from calle Fuencarral to Paseo de Recoletos. In between there are narrow streets, pedestrianised stretches and squares where a car cannot stop: Plaza de Chueca, the area around the Mercado de San Antón on Augusto Figueroa, Hortaleza, Gravina, Pelayo or Barquillo. Further east, the Salesas area, with Plaza de las Salesas and calles Almirante and Argensola, has a quieter feel but the same parking problem.
So when you book, write the exact address and tell us in the comments if your building is on a pedestrian or restricted-access street. We will confirm a nearby spot where the taxi can stop safely, so you do not have to drag your luggage further than necessary.
