Tourism, the Plaza Mayor and breaks from the airport
Chinchón's Plaza Mayor, with its arcades and wooden balconies, is the town's best-known image and the centre of its life: around it and the streets of the old town you will find traditional inns, restaurants and places to stay. Add to that the Parador, housed in a former convent, and the fame of Chinchón's anise liqueur and garlic. All of this draws visitors from outside Madrid, many of them from abroad, who arrive by plane.

From Chinchón there are two logical ways to reach Barajas: north via Morata de Tajuña to take the A-3, or west to link up with the A-4. The driver chooses according to the traffic at the time, and either way you pay €97.
