Torremocha de Jarama is a small village in the north of the Madrid region, near Torrelaguna and Talamanca de Jarama, in open countryside beside the river valley. Far from the main roads, it is one of those places where getting to the airport without a car takes some organising: public transport to Barajas involves changes, and with suitcases or at early hours it is not practical.
