Zarzalejo village and Zarzalejo Estación
Zarzalejo has two quite separate centres. On one side is the village, with its traditional centre and the Machotas peaks in the background; on the other, beside the Madrid–Ávila railway line, the Zarzalejo Estación neighbourhood. We pick up in both, and at the homes scattered around the municipality. When you book, say which one you are in: that way the driver goes straight there and there is no confusion over similar street names.
If you arrive by train and want to carry on to the airport, we can also wait for you at the station.

A mountain village with good reasons to book
Zarzalejo is a quiet spot in the western Sierra, with hiking routes, rural guesthouses and lots of weekend homes. For people who live here, setting off for Barajas by public transport means combining the train and other services with your luggage; for those coming from elsewhere, getting here from the airport can be just as complicated. A door-to-door taxi at a fixed price solves both.

The route to Barajas
The taxi leaves Zarzalejo towards the El Escorial and San Lorenzo de El Escorial area, and from there continues to the A-6 and the roads that lead to the airport. The route may vary with the traffic; the price does not.
