Airport fares are set by area, and Pinilla del Valle is among the villages furthest from Barajas in the Madrid mountains. In return, the amount is fixed from the moment you book: it does not depend on the kilometres on a meter or on tailbacks coming into Madrid, and it is the same outward and return. In a village like Pinilla del Valle there are no taxi ranks with cars waiting, so improvising does not work.
