A village on the border with Guadalajara
Pezuela is on the eastern edge of the Madrid region, right up against the province of Guadalajara. It is a quiet village, known for its pillory, the church of La Asunción, its hermitages (San Benito, Santa Ana and La Soledad) and the many springs dotted around the municipality. There are also people who have a family home or second home here and come at weekends or in summer.
The only public transport is the bus to Alcalá de Henares. For a trip by plane, that means getting to Alcalá and working out how to continue from there to Barajas. A booked taxi solves it all in one go: front door, terminal.
